At last year’s Hy-Vee IndyCar Race, Santino Ferrucci may not have raced, but he was named a Team Penske driver for three days as a potential replacement after Josef Newgarden was injured in a crash. As a result, AJ Foyt Racing hired Ferrucci as a full-time season driver.

Ferrucci recently competed in Indycar’s private test with 19 other racers in preparation for the upcoming Hy-Vee Indy Race Weekend at the end of July.
