IndyCar driver for A.J. Foyt Racing Santino Ferrucci toured Webco Industries’ Star Center in Sand Springs on Friday.

Ferrucci, the driver with the most consecutive top-10 finishes to start an IndyCar career, has worked with Webco for the past four years. He said he came to spend time with the employees and see the production line and how things are made.

“All the tubing, things you don’t even think about, stuff like axles for your 1500 trucks or air conditioning tubing. It’s just amazing to see the process and how the tubes are made,” said Ferrucci. “It’s stuff you don’t think about, but how much we use in our country today and all over the globe, so it’s really cool to see. It’s all based here; it’s all American-made, which is amazing.”

Ferrucci also said he is looking forward to the Chili Bowl in January. The racecars and tubing will be made by Webco’s FinishLine products.

“It just brings Webco into racing in the most raw and pure form,” said Ferrucci.

In addition to manufacturing racecar parts, most SUVs and trucks built in North America today have Webco parts in them.
